Pequeña vida (2021)

For the series pequeña vida – China ink on handmade paper / stamp print (143 x 143 cm) I orientated myself on block printing from ancient China. According to my own drawings, I had made stamps in different sizes. With this and the hand printing process, I can repeat the “insects”, line them up ornamentally and show them like in a large museum showcase. This working method helps me to express their immeasurable number.
